The Pan-Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning (PCF6) has grown to become one of the world’s leading conferences on learning and global development. PCF5 in London at the Institute of Education will explore how open and distance learning can help achieve international development goals and education for all. The PCF6 conference theme is "Access and Success in Learning: Global Development Perspective" with a focus on children and young people, health, livelihoods, governance, conflict and social justice.
PCF5 brought together over 700 delegates from 70 countries. Discussions concluded on Thursday, 17 July, with a closing keynote address by Sir John Daniel, President and CEO of COL, summarising the Forum discussions and the key issues that arose. Around 300 full papers presented at the Forum are available on our WikiEducator pages. We also offer reports on more than 60 sessions that formed part of the PCF5 programme, with further material to be added in the coming week. A 'post-PCF5 newsletter' was sent out after the Forum.
